BorderSkin is a free portable software created by Mohamed Kamal at DeviantArt which enables users to get Aero Glass Effect in Windows XP. Apart from the Aero Glass Effect it also includes some other features like AeroSnap, Blur, Reflection etc. The main use of this software is to get Aero Glass Effect in Windows XP but you can also install other skins/themes in BorderSkin. It also works on Windows 7 and Windows Vista.

  4. Can I install this for my Windows 7 Starter. It has some limitations, I can’t change the wallpaper in Windows 7 Starter and also, not able to apply aero effect. Only Windows 7 Basic theme is available in Windows 7 Starter.
